ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. I am a sports journalism alum from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University and interning at AZcentral sports, the digital edition of The Arizona Republic. I then moved to Washington, D.C. after graduation to work in Digital Media for the Washington Wizards and later in Georgetown University's athletic department. I now work as a Digital Content Creator for the Pac-12 and Pac-12 Network.
In my freshman year I wrote articles for many clubs, including Devils in Detail, the Walter Cronkite Sports Network, Thunder Digest and The State Press. In my sophomore year I was the video editor for The State Press and an intern at ArizonaSports.com. In El Paso, I held two other internships: one with a local TV station, KVIA, and another with a local radio station, KROD. At my internships I created video packages, wrote web stories, took stats, assisted with broadcast production and even wrote scripts. |
